More than 100 Los Angeles County and City firefighters battled a large pallet blaze late Tuesday.
Crews responded to reports of a fire at a pallet yard in South Los Angeles shortly before midnight, KCBS-TV reports. High-power lines that went down while firefighters were putting out the flames created challenges for them.
Although nearby residents were evacuated for safety, no one was injured in the incident. Firefighters had the blaze under control in a little more than an hours, KCBS added.
